Margaret Drake Clark, 60, of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, passed away Tuesday evening at the Medical University of South Carolina on May 16th, 2023.
She was born in Morgantown, West Virginia, as the youngest of the late Anne (Burnette) Drake and the late Thomas Drake. Maggie earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from West Virginia University. She touched many lives as a social worker and later as a volunteer coordinator for Hospice Care of the Lowcountry.
She was a light that will be greatly missed in the community of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. She will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, and advocate for those who were struggling. She was an outspoken, kind, and truly wonderful person.
She is survived by her daughter, Olivia MacIsaac, her sister, Patty Drake, and her brother, Timothy Drake, all of Hilton Head Island; her nieces and nephews, Emily Clark, Wilson Clark, Andrew Cunningham, and Lucas Cunningham, and their families.
